As mentioned in the post below, 1.4 patch notes are now out, linked for your pleasure, by me. Here. There’s a couple of interesting things in them and a couple of things I just need to comment on. For full coverage (ok, partial), read on. Continue reading
First off, let me start by apologising for all the slacking. I haven’t been updating as I really want to get my WP to RR80 before the expansion hits (not going so well) and I’ve been messing around with some other games, the fruits of which should be visible soon. But I won’t make any excuses for the slacking, I’m just letting you know what I’ve been up to. I’ll much rather make up for it with increased activity in the coming weeks.
The subject of this post is something a bit overdue, which is my take on all the recent info on the expansion. If you aren’t aware of any details on new content, check my blogroll and you are likely to find more information that you could hope for. I won’t be going into much detail, since there is no need for that with all the hardworking WAR bloggers doing it for me (I’m just lazy).
This was supposed to be a rant post. And it probably would have been, had I written it yesterday. But I’m feeling differently today so I’ll just outline the content and explain what caused me to rage.
These days I run in PuGs most of my time. My guild has moved on to other games and I’m reluctant to join another guild. Simply because I can’t take the hassle of finding one that fits me, applying and getting to know their rules and members. Yes, I’m a loner by choice. Maybe I’ll find a guild later when I long for organised play. Most of the time I am playing my WP, which is dumb and counter intuitive you’ll say, with WP being the most group based healer. I say so what? I like the WP, go away you troll. Err…
It’s time for one of those drawn-out, half incomprehensible suggestion posts. Mythic has announced that after introducing and stabilizing patch 1.3.5 and the improved city siege they’ll be looking into improving ORvR in general. This is my contribution. I appreciate any comments, criticism or suggestions.
Update (27.5.): Has now been updated with more stuff.
